This destruction of chemical weapons was made possible by the President’s threat to use force, without which Syria would never even admitted it had chemical weapons to destroy.

Ironically, that’s just about the only kind of credibility we have in the international community right now.

This could have happened in 2002-2003.

Hans Blix was insultingly mocked by the President and the Far Right press for doing his job and not finding the excuse they wanted to go to war, so they just belittled and derided him and fucking killed a fucking ton of people anyway for their own personal self-aggrandizement.

So glad we have an adult in the WH right now.
